JENNIFER SCHLIEPER

Co-Owner & Creative Director

After graduating from university, Schlieper was hired at Ketchum, one of largest public relations firms in the world, without an ounce of PR experience to lead one of the oldest and most respected house accounts.  This began her calling card – to change the perception of what is expected and possible. Throughout her career, she has successfully launched brands for Heinz, GNC, Ernst and Young and MSA winning national awards for her work and gaining the loyalty and respect from those who have worked with her.  Her honest, “no is not an option” approach continues to leverage her creative background and business acumen building strategies that have turned companies into profit centers.  From business-to-consumer to business-to-business to tech start-ups, she challenges the status quo.  She has raised millions of dollars for non-profits by changing the narrative on giving. Schlieper is sought after not only for her business advice but also as a leader, speaking at various conferences throughout the country. Co-Founder and Creative Director of Flying Scooter Productions, she continues to develop brands that make an impact. (She’s also Google-Certified.)

COURTNEY GUMPF

Co-Owner & Producer

Heralded as one of the best producers in Pittsburgh, Gumpf’s film industry initiation with Love and Other Drugs helped catapult her as the “go-to” in feature, small screen and commercial projects, working on more than 100 productions. Expanding her repertoire, she joined a burgeoning marketing team at Sabika where she supported some of the most elaborate events across the country. Simultaneously, she was part of five-person crew that launched multi-channel retailing and expanded charitable giving. Co-Owner of Flying Scooter Productions, Gumpf leads the digital and production teams developing and executing campaigns for clients in business-to-business and business-to-consumer genres. A Google-certified partner, her focus is driven-by FSP client success.

“There is no “one-size fits all approach.” Our success is predicated on our client’s success. There are no short-cuts.  We do the work to ensure the work – works. It’s that simple.”

RYAN SARGENT

Graphic & Multimedia Designer

A recent graduate of La Roche University, Sargent holds a degree in graphic design with a concentration in marketing. A former Motion Graphics Intern with the Pittsburgh Penguins, he joined the Scooters in 2018 as an intern before being hired full-time as a Graphic and Multimedia Designer. A native Pittsburgher, Sargent is inspired by the city, but loves to travel. Some of his favorite destinations include Cuba, South Korea and Arkansas (yes, Arkansas). When not working with the Scooters, you can probably find him at a car show or race track.

EMILY VANDERMEY

Graphic Designer

Studying graphic design and information technology at Point Park University, Emily (M), grew up in beautiful Elizabethtown about an hour outside of Philadelphia. Since discovering design in her first semester of college, she feeds her creative obsession with freelance work and joined Flying Scooter Productions in early November working on logo design, illustration and branding. M loves obscure foreign films – and commenting on the font choice of the credits and the cover design of DVDs. When she’s not designing, looking at other people’s design, or thinking about design, you can find her playing the piano, painting abstract portraits, or listening to an audiobook.
