- Mitigate Spread of Infection.
- Provide Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), such as face masks or coverings to all crew and cast members
- Supply hand sanitizer or a place to wash hands with both hot and cold water with hand soap, disposable towels, and a no- touch trash can.
- Disinfect surfaces, doorknobs, countertops, phones, faucets, props, equipment, vehicles, etc with EPA-registered disinfectant on a regular and daily basis.
- Protect Cast & Crew’s Well-Being.
- Practice social distancing when possible. Use physical indicators (ex. cones or duct tape) to mark 6 ft. of distance in populated areas such as craft service, catering, hair & makeup and wardrobe.
- Use phones or videoconferencing whenever possible. Conduct virtual production meetings to limit exposure.
- Send home any crew member, cast or vendor who shows signs or symptoms of possible COVID-19
- Train & Educate.
- Regularly communicate to the cast, crew and vendors all COVID-19 related processes and procedures.
- Educate staff on what the signs and symptoms of COVID-19 are.
- Post signage in all production offices, locations and sets to reinforce guidelines – including, Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), proper hand washing techniques, and environmental cleaning and disinfection protocol.
SCOOTER NOTE
- Close production offices and sets to any and all non-essential personnel.
- Clean and disinfect shared equipment before and after each use.
- Overly communicate ahead of time on the rules and regulations of returning to work.
